Vitosha mountain is situated only 10 km from Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. The mountain is good for skiing in the winter and trekking in the summer. There are two ski centers on Vitosha where you can find everything - from pistes for children and ski schools to difficult ones, suitable for advanced skiers.
The highest peak of Vitosha is Cherni Vruh (2290 m). The main skiing area is under it.

Bansko ski resort is the best winter resort in Bulgaria with the longest ski runs and the richest cultural history. The town of Bansko is situated at the foot of the Pirin mountain in the south-western Bulgaria, 160 km from Sofia. The Pirin mountain is an Alpine type mountain with its highest peak - Vihren (2914 m). The town of Bansko is located 925 m above the sea level whereas its ski area - at an altitude of 2000 - 2600 m. The resort offers excellent ski and snowboard conditions and infrastructure.

Borovets ski resort is located 12 km from the town of Samokov and 72 km from the Bulgarian capital Sofia.
Borovets is a modern ski resort located in the Rila mountain. The resort features luxury hotels, restaurants, bars, shops and a good choice of pistes and lifts. Borovets is an Alpine type resort, providing very good conditions for snow sports during the winter: skiing, night-skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, ski jumps and biathlon, ski-doo, etc. The total length of the ski pistes is 58 km.

Pamporovo ski resort is located in the heart of the Rhodopi mountain. It is the sunniest Bulgarian mountain resort. The ski slopes of Pamporovo are safe guarded and maintained in a very good condition. The gentle profile of the mountain with its rounded slopes and summits makes Pamporovo suitable for beginners.
Pamporovo ski resort is located 85 km from Plovdiv and 240 km from Sofia. The resort is situated on 1650 m above the sea level in the Rhodopi mountain at the foot of Snejanka peak (1926 m).
